Location
The School of Art and Open Studio is located in Perquín, a small community in the state of Morazán, El Salvador.

The Mayor’s office, the institutions and the local NGO’s (who have already strongly supported the creation of the School of Art/ Open Studio of Perquin) have agreed to the creation of a building that will be called “The House for Youth.” The initiative to create a space destined to cultural activities for young people has already begun. The creation of a physical location to host both cultural and artistic activities has been placed on the town’s agenda for future civic plans. In the meantime while this creation of “The House for Youth” takes place, La Casa de la Cultura (The House of Culture), CEBES and even the Mayor’s Office of Perquin have all offered their facilities and buildings to accommodate the classes and workshops as needed in the near future.
